APA Citations Cheat-Sheet: Multiple Authors from the Same Year & Different Year

You’re writing an APA style paper and you stumble upon a treasure trove of information…all from the same author. Some are from the same year, and others are from different years.

You peruse through various websites on how to cite your authors without getting ridiculous penalties from your super-strict professor. You panic. You end up here.

You fret and realize that you are pressed for time.

  1. You can use APA citation sites, such as Citation Machine: A Chegg Resource. I assume you’ve done that.
  2. Some professors are STILL very nit-picky in the citation section of your paper, so the generator could have a mistake OR it doesn’t take into account an internal rule specific to the professor.
  3. You try out the Purdue Owl and the various University Library websites.

However, you’re writing 1000 papers, and you’re running out of time. I will show you how to cite these things.
