Dealing with Job Search Depression?

Searching for jobs can be exhausting, especially when you’re applying to hundreds to applications and getting very few responses, if any.

I’m generally an optimistic person and I like to look at the bright side of things. I have a reliable and supportive network.

However, at the any of the day, the pressure is on me to:

  1. Find and apply to said posting.
  2. Create a customized resume and cover letter for that specific job position.
  3. Prepare for phone interviews & in-person interviews.
  4. Collect / conduct research on the company.
  5. Take initiative of my own destiny.

The pressure can be overwhelming at times so I’ve found myself preoccupying my mind in various ways.

  1. Taking an online course.
  2. Working on my writing repertoire through Medium.
  3. Deep introspection on what has worked for me in the past.
