Not quite. Intrusive thoughts are more like having a pop-up image that doesn't make much sense or aligns with your core values. For example, maybe this is a pop-up image of you doing something bad because you did not become successful, and you would be scared to tell others because of that. Your moral compass tells you that you would not do this bad thing even if you were not successful.
